By signing this declaration, I hereby transfer to the Railway and Canal Historical Society from the date below / upon my death* ownership of the materials briefly described below, to use in whatever way the Society considers appropriate in accordance with its Constitution.
This transfer includes any copyright that I hold in these materials, but I do not warrant that I am the sole copyright owner of all of the materials concerned.
I reserve to myself (or other person as named on individual items) the inalienable right to be named as the author/photographer when the images are made available to the public.

By signing this declaration, I hereby grant a license in perpetuity to the Railway and Canal Historical Society, to make and use digital copies of the materials briefly described below, in whatever way the Society considers appropriate in accordance with its Constitution.
I retain the ownership, and any copyright, that I hold in these materials, but do not warrant that I am the sole copyright owner of all of the materials concerned.
I assert my inalienable right to be named as the author/photographer (or other person as named on individual items) when the images are made available to the public.

- Where the member wishes to donate the materials listed to the Society immediately;
- Where the member wishes to licence the Society to make and use digital copies of the materials listed, but to retain ownership until his/her death whereupon they are to be donated to the Society;
- Where the member wishes to licence the Society to make and use digital copies of the materials listed, but to decide on future ownership in due course.
