Dick Pemble was a loco driver based at Andover Junction. He was born on 12 July 1899 in Sheerness, Kent and died in 1976. He worked over the Midland & South Western Junction line between Andover Junction & Andoversford, and on to Cheltenham St James, and took many photographs of the line during its final years, often from the cab of one of his locos.
After his death, Stephen Duffell was permitted to make copies of these photographs, which are now presented in route order starting from the south.
