Grid Ref: SP 6022 6564 [GU-077-580]. A pair of working boats are passing the Leicester Line, travelling north on the Main Line. The building at the junction was constructed in the early 20th century and is shown on maps as the 'Toll House' but probably was used by the boat gauger with payment made elsewhere based on the information he obtained. A 70ft section under the bridge was narrowed to facilitate the boat measurement.Norton Junction.. May 1955

Relics from Blisworth tramway. 11/06/1988
The tramway operated between 1801 and 1805 while Blisworth Tunnel and the Stoke Bruerne flight of locks were completed. It ran from near Blisworth Mill to a wharf at the bottom of the lock flight. The short, flanged, rails shown here used stone setts as sleepers, a few of which can still be found.Relics from Blisworth tramway. 11/06/1988
