Reportedly near a dogleg in the South Drain at Grid Ref: ST 41180 41862. The tracks of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway Burham and Evercreech Branch can be seen running parallel to the canal. The cast iron quoin posts of the top gates are remaining but no masonry whereas there was stonework around the bottom gates.Shipwick Lock. 1967
