Kibworth Top Lock?
Lock 18. Grid Ref: SP 6576 9444 [GL-047-150]. This is the only lock of this style with a lock house above and to the right of the lock between Leicester and Foxton. However, modern photos show a very different lock house, suggesting that it has been rebuilt and it appears on maps and in the modern photos to be further from the lock than this picture indicates. Does anyone have an alternative suggestion?Kibworth Top Lock?

Two empty short boats below locks. The boats are probably maintenance boats; that on the right certainly is as this was their usual mooring when not in use.

Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Greenberfield Middle Lock gates and paddle gear
Top gates with 'up and over' ground paddle and ratchet gate paddle. On top of the balance beam on the left is the wooden cleat used for holding boats forward and away from the bottom gates in this case. The right hand balance beam has an iron prop underneath its outer end to hold the gate open or closed.

Leeds & Liverpool Canal: Marton. Double-arch bridge No 161
Grade 2 listed public road bridge, c1790. Robert Whitworth, engineer. Rubble. Two round arches are above the other, the upper carrying the road and with short curved parapet walls. The lower is a strainer arch and appears integral, occasioned by the unusual height of the abutments.

Two L&L short boats tied outside and several on the dock including a wooden vessel under construction. The drydock was above the bottom lock from where the photo was taken. The double slip was built in the 1880s for the maintenance of the canal company's general cargo boats. The building beyond was where the steam and diesel boat engines were maintained.

Lift bridge above Longcot Top Lock?
Location unconfirmed but a photo exists that looks remarkably like this bridge and claims this location, although a similar structure existed on the Basingstoke Canal
