Stowmarket and part of the maltings (IS2)
The flint wall on the right of the photo is part of the maltings complex with the long sloping odd-shaped roof. The opposite side of the river is Hewitt's Timber Yard and directly to the left of the tree above the towpath you can just make out the windscreens of a couple of vehicles. This was another part of the Barnards garage and engineering works where they were able to park cars on the roof of one of their workshops.Stowmarket and part of the maltings (IS2)

The building with the Barnard's sign on the wall was a part of the Barnard's garage workshop area where lorry trailers were made.
