Grid Ref: TQ 1782 7728 [GU-221-630]. In the distance is Bridge 209B that carried the GWR Brentford Branch into the extensive railway sidings at Brentford Dock to the left of the picture. It now carries a road leading to the housing estate built on the site of the sidings. Oddly the foot bridge before the railway one that existed before and after the date of this picture is not evident.

Possibly John's Bridge, No.55, on Dark Lane, Grid Ref: SP 2345 6676 [GU-033-180]. This matches the brickwork, all other bridges down the flight and near Hatton Station have been replaced with concrete ones, presumably when the canal was widened in the 1930s. If so however, it has now been removed.
