36001 Leader Class Loco - Bogies with body removed (Ref: 010291)
The Leader class locomotive was Bulleid's attempt at producing a modern steam locomotive with a driving position at each end and chain driven bogies. Started in by the Southern Railway in 1946 this prototype began trials in 1949 but was withdrawn and scrapped in 1950 by BR.
