Holborn Viaduct (HHH @ 0m 00ch)
An early view (estimated date circa 1880) of the interior of Holborn Viaduct station. All of the stock is identified as built in the 1860s or early 70s. The time by the clock on the far wall is 4.45 pm (the light is from the West) and as the station is empty, it presumably is Sunday. Note the 24in globe gas lamp and the unusual double-sided wooden benches.
