The three-arch overbridge was photographed looking south from the south entrance to Quarry tunnel.
The Quarry Line was opened in 1899 by the LBSCR, bypassing the original line through Merstham and Redhill owned by the South Eastern Railway. It now serves as the Fast lines from London Bridge/Victoria to Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
