Nasmyth Wilson (works number 1594) standard gauge, 2-8-2 locomotive being loaded aboard ship.

Driving wheels of 4ft 6ins, built in 1932 for the Chinese Government Purchasing Commission Teintsin Pukow. It was one of an order for 8 locomotives, numbered 291-298. When these eight outsize engines left the factory in 1932 bound for Manchester docks in a fully erected state, the move entailed lowering and slewing the railway line through two tunnels, and removing the coping stones from Eccles station platform. The work had to be done between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday.

Tasmanian Government Railways K class Garratt Locomotive

An 0-4-0+0-4-0 for 2ft gauge track. Originally there were 2 locomotives, K1 and k2, and they worked the North East Dundas Tramway. The line closed in 1929. K1's boiler was sold to a saw mill and, in 1947, Beyer Peacock repatriated K1 and the boiler and boiler cradle of K2 to the UK. The restored locomotive works on the Statfold Barn Railway..
