Built by Ivatt as GNR J13 class in the 1890s. Reclassified J52 by the LNER. Based at one of GNR's London sheds it is pictured here having passed through Snow Hill tunnel hauling a cross-London coal train on SECR metals to the south of Blackfriars Station. #
