Late nineteenth century image of station before canopy was added to entrance. The station, with its Tudor centrepiece and Renaissance-style train shed with a pair of domed towers, was designed by Frederick Barnes for the Ipswich & Bury Railway. Note glimpses of overall roof between the towers.
