East Coast Joint Stock Third Class Carriage No. 176.
This six-wheeled carriage built at Doncaster in 1891 has an internal corridor but no gangway connections. It has five third class compartments each seating six passengers and a lavatory compartment at each end. The carriage was photographed outside the North Carriage Shed Doncaster on 29 June 1916.
