East Coast Joint Stock Composite Brake Van No. 243
This clerestory roofed carriage is fitted with six-wheeled bogies. It appears to have two first class compartments, two third class compartments and two lavatory compartments. There are two compartments for passenger luggage either side of the guard's compartment. The carriage was built by the Great Northern Railway and has the date of 3.3.06 on the solebar.
