East Coast Joint Stock Composite Brake Van No. 23
This clerestory roofed carriage is fitted with six-wheeled bogies, has two first class compartments, three third class compartments and two compartments for passenger luggage either side of the guard's compartment. As well as corridor connections the carriage also has a lavatory compartment. The carriage was built by the Great Northern Railway.
