East Coast Joint Stock Composite Corridor Carriage No. 240
Fitted with six wheeled bogies this clerestory roofed carriage has 2 first class compartments and two third class compartments plus a compartment for passenger luggage at one end of carriage plus separate toilets for first and third class passengers. The carriage was built c. 1896 and used on the London to Perth via Forth Bridge service.
