Class16/1 Co-Co Nos 10000 & 10001 (Ref: 010568)
10000 was built in 1947 and 10001 in 1948. In their early years the locomotives were often used in tandem. They are seen here on a trial run with the 13:00 train from Euston to Carlisle passing over Bushey Troughs on 5 October 1948.
