Built Wolverton as WCJS 3rd class kitchen/dining car in 1884(no 484). In 1906 to Cal Rly as a 1st/3rd dining saloon. In 190-/21 converted to Officers/Buffet saloon with corridor connetion at one end and 3 observation windows at the other. In 1827 further rebuilt as an observation saloon, with end windows removed and another corridor c onnecton fitted. Rebuilt in 1960 following collison damage as an observation car.
