Dundee Ward Road Station
The Dundee and Newtyle Railway Station on frieze of building is a reference to the company that opened this station in 1832. It is reputed to be the first ever passenger railway station in Scotland. The station was closed in 1861. Note: The station was also known as Dundee Ward Street.
