Class AM1 EMU Set 20, operating on the Lancaster - Morecambe - Heysham line (Ref: 011282)
Set 20 comprising DMBSO no. M28220M + TSO no. M29722M + DTSO no. M29022M. One of four prototype AC electric multiple units, converted from former LNWR fourth-rail DC electric stock in 1952 and used on the Lancaster/Morecambe/Heysham route, electrified at 6.6 kV 50 Hz. The service was withdrawn on 2 January 1966.
