Station opened 02 September 1850; closed 02 November 1964. The station building is now a private dwelling.
Photo taken from the B4031 over bridge. The steel girder bridge in the background carries the Down line of the Bicester cutoff over this line and then to Aynho Junction where it joins the Banbury/Oxford line and on through Kings Sutton and in to Banbury.
