Merchant Navy Class Pacific loco No 35009 "Shaw Savill" in very poor condition
After being withdrawn in 1964, 35009 "Shaw Savill" was stored at Woodham Brothers scrapyard in Barry, Wales, before moving to the failed Brighton Railway Museum project at Brighton Works in 1989, then Swindon Works in the early 2000s, and eventually Bury where it currently resides with Ian Riley for restoration.
