The weir is on the extreme left and straight ahead is the navigation channel to the site of Lucy's Locks, albeit that by this time, the lock had been filled in. Grid Ref: SP 2016 5416 [WA-007-030]. Church spire in distance is probably that of St James' in the centre of the town, since demolished.
