The nearest possible location where there was a ferry and the tower of Tewkesbury Abbey in the distance is Twyning Fleet, Grid Ref: SO 9050 3656, but there is no house on the left bank there. To the south is a ferry on the River Severn at Lower Lode where the Mill Avon joins the Severn but the tower is on the wrong side of the rivers.
