Griff Colliery loading basin, Griff Hollows Canal
Pleasure boats moored in the basin at the end of the Griff canal at Bermuda Village, Nuneaton. Photo probably taken in the 1960's. Commercial boats were loaded with coal here until the colliery closed in 1961, and the canal was silted up by the early 1970's.
