The track is the former main drive to Nynehead Court. Grid ref: ST 1440 2180 [GW-011-590]. Through the arch of the canal bridge may be seen Nynehead Court rail bridge (MLN1 @ 169m 16ch. Grid ref: ST144217), opened 1843 by the Bristol & Exeter Railway, just five years after the canal.
