The Cann Quarry Canal ran for 3.4 km from Cann Quarry to near the River Plym at Marsh Mills. Opened in 1829 with a short tramway connecting it to the Plymouth and Dartmoor Railway at Crabtree Junction. It had been replaced by a tramway within ten years, but continued to be used as a mill leat to supply Marsh Mills corn mill. Most of it is still visible and much of the tramway that ran close to it is a walking/cycle path.
