Bridgwater Dock - drag boat (1967)
The boat moved the deposited mud by acting like a underwater bulldozer. It was not self-propelled but pulled itself acrosss the basin. Its history is uncertain but it is likel to have been built for Bristol Docks in 1834 and misattributed to Brunel. (14 January 1967)
