Wappenshall - 1838 Trubshaw warehouse and skew bridge (c1960) 057655
The wharf was a private development by the Sutherland Estate. The three-story building was designed by the versatile James Trubshaw, who as a contractor had built the Grosvenor Bridge over the Dee in Chester, provided engineering advice to the Trent & Mersey Canal, and as an architect designed churches and country houses.
