Grid Ref: ST 9805 9953. The spring is just in front of the group but was dry at the time. The year round source is about 1.1km away at Lyd's Well (ST 9894 9847). The statue of Old Father Thames was located here from 1958 to 1974 when it was move to St John's Lock because of persistent vandalism.
