In the foreground is the bridge over the entrance to the West Dock, Grid Ref: TQ 3388 8046 [TR-234-470]. This bridge has since been removed and replaced with one on the far side of the single lock gate that can be seen below it. In the distance is the lock to the river and the lift bridge over it, also replaced and moved since. Beyond that are buildings on the far side of the river.
