Hythe Bridge. C1790
Painting which shows a single lock gate up to the canal and beyond it a wooden bridge over the cut for the towpath. This is presumably the 1790 connection to the Thames back stream by a 'Moveable Weir' as mentioned on page 63 of Hugh Compton's book on the canal. Grid Ref.
