Wolfhampcote Loop. July 1968
Taken from the disused Great Central Railway at SP 5244 6439. Looking towards Braunston with the canal along the hedgerow in the centre of the picture. Grid Ref. SP 5284 6472 [OX-037-550/OXq-003-600]. The embankment visible under the spire of Braunston church is the track of the Weedon and Leamington Branch of the L&NWR. Near the right hand end of the embankment can be seen a small bush and the hedgerow to the right of this is the canal returning from it's excursion up the River Leam valley.
