Grid Ref: SE 0629 2366 [RD-001-370]. The Line of the canal followed the section of grass above and to the right of the lock gate towards Wharf Road Bridge. Beyond that, it was infilled, Including Lock 3, for and extension to Tuel Lane. The infilled section has now been excavated as a tunnel with Lock 3 moved and combined with Lock 4 as a deep lock.
