The picture was taken from Brownhills Bridge. Grid Ref: SJ 9450 8321 [MA-006-910]. The arm under the bridge on the left was Lord Vernon's Wharf, now the home of Braidbar Boat Builders. The section on the right beyond the bridge is now a marina.
