Friarage Bridge in Lancaster. 5 June 1960

Friarage Bridge in Lancaster. 5 June 1960

The only bridge that comes near to matching this. Grid Ref: SD 4800 6145 [LC-044-130]. Above the bridge can be seen what could be a chimney and through it is another bridge approach in the distance, which would be consistent but the current bridge does not resemble this one and may have been rebuilt more than once. The other turnover bridge in Lancaster, Aldcliffe Yard Bridge, appears to be original.
