Grid Ref: SJ 7962 9557 [BWm-005-790]. This is also known as Waters Meeting but confusingly, that name has also been used for the junction at Preston Brook. The picture is taken from the Leigh Branch, left to Manchester; right to Runcorn. The masonry on the left and right are the abutments of a roving bridge that has since had a new deck. The girder bridge beyond was for one of the Trafford Park railway sidings.
