These images were taken on 17th October 1970 when the Shaw Saville liner MV Arawa travelled from the Atlantic ocean to the Pacific ocean. It was carrying passengers and cargo to Auckland, New Zealand, calling at Barbados, Curacao, Panama canal and Panama city, Tahiti and Sydney Australia.
