The curvature of the wharf and location of the tower of St Stephen's church suggest that this is the section between Baldwin Street Lift Bridge and Stone Bridge (seen in the distance), centred at about Grid Ref: ST 5863 7301. The entire section has since been filled in, first as a formal gardens but now as a tree lined paved area.
